Dinner

Chicken Parm

  • 24 oz jar of marinara sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • ¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 3 to 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • cooked spaghetti
  1. Add a jar of marinara sauce tp the bottom of the slowcooker
  2. In a separate bowl whisk together:
    • eggs
    • water
  3. In another bowl mix together:
    • breadcrumbs
    • ½ cup of parmesan cheese
    • red pepper flakes
    • garlic powder
    • Italian seasoning
    • salt
  4. Dip each chicken breast in the egg wash bowl
  5. Add each chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture and make sure both sides get fully coated
  6. Add the chicken on top of the marinara sauce in the slow cooker
  7. Set the cooker on high for 3 to 4 hours
  8. Once it’s done add:
    • ½ cup of parmesan cheese
    • mozzarella cheese
  9. Put the lid back on to allow the cheese to melt for 5 minutes
  10. Optional: Add cooked spaghetti to a plate and some sauce from the slow cooker on top of the spaghetti
  11. Serve the chicken breasts on top of the spaghetti and
  12. enjoy!
