Chicken Parm
Cook: 3 Hours
Serves: 5
Ingredients
24 oz jar of marinara sauce
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of water
1 cup of breadcrumbs
¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes
½ teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon of salt
3 to 4 boneless chicken breasts
1 cup of grated parmesan cheese
1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
Optional
cooked spaghetti
DIRECTIONS
Add a jar of marinara sauce tp the bottom of the slow
cooker
In a separate bowl whisk together:
eggs
water
In another bowl mix together:
breadcrumbs
½ cup of parmesan cheese
red pepper flakes
garlic powder
Italian seasoning
salt
Dip each chicken breast in the egg wash bowl
Add each chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture
and make sure both sides get fully coated
Add the chicken on top of the marinara sauce in the slow
cooker
Set the cooker on high for 3 to 4 hours
Once it’s done add:
½ cup of parmesan cheese
mozzarella cheese
Put the lid back on to allow the cheese to melt for 5
minutes
Optional: Add cooked spaghetti to a plate and some
sauce from
the slow cooker on top of the spaghetti
Serve the chicken breasts on top of the spaghetti and
enjoy!
