Leftovers/storage

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days. Since this is a creamy soup, it may thicken as it sits, so when reheating just add a splash of broth or water and give it a stir to bring it back to the right consistency. It reheats really well and still tastes just as good the next day.

Frequently asked questions

Can I leave out the kale?

Yes, you can leave it out if you want or swap it for spinach. It will still be creamy and delicious either way.

You can use less cream or swap it for half and half if you want it a little lighter. It will still be creamy but not as rich.

Yes, you can use mild or spicy depending on what you like. Both work really well and change the flavor slightly.
