Ingredients

  • 30 oz bag of frozen hash browns
  • 1 lb of cooked ground sausage
  • 2 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 12 eggs
  • ½ cup of milk
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper

How to make

  1. Add ½ bag of frozen hash browns to the bottom of the slow cooker
  2. Add ½ lb of cooked ground sausage on top
  3. Add 1 cup of cheddar cheese
  4. Repeat the layers:
    • ½ bag of frozen hash browns
    • ½ lb of cooked ground sausage
    • 1 cup of cheddar cheese
  5. In a separate bowl mix together:
    • eggs
    • milk
    • salt
    • black pepper
  6. Pour the egg mixture into the slow cooker
  7. Set the slow cooker on high for 3 to 4 hours or low for 6 to 8 hours
  8. Serve and enjoy

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days. This reheats really well and keeps its texture, so it is perfect for breakfast the next day. Just warm it up and it is ready to go.
